Weekend Support Specialist

SNAP Care
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support Josh on weekends and school holidays. As an Evening & Weekend Support Staff, you will work alongside a team member to meet Josh's needs, including all aspects of his health, care, and medical plan.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting others to meet their full potential. You will be responsible for planning fun and enjoyable activities with Josh, as well as supporting him with personal care, therapy input, and transitions (hoisting). All training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Josh with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
- Plan and implement fun and engaging activities to ensure Josh has a fulfilling weekend
- Assist with transitions (hoisting) and other tasks as required
- Work alongside a team member to meet Josh's needs
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for supporting others to meet their full potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as hoisting and manual handling
