About the Role

We are seeking a Geography teacher to join our team at an outstanding secondary school in Central London. As a Geography educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to high-ability pupils at GCSE level.

The Humanities faculty has a strong record of accomplishment in delivering excellent outcomes across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will be part of a well-resourced department with modern teaching facilities and good schemes of work in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach Geography to students at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • To plan and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of high-ability pupils
  • To assess student progress and provide feedback
Requirements
  • A recognised teaching qualification in the UK, including QTS (or an equivalent overseas qualification leading to obtaining QTS)
  • Experience of working in a high-achieving secondary comprehensive school is desirable
  • Confidence in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons for high-ability pupils
  • Good behaviour management skills and the ability to relate to students
  • A 'can-do' attitude and sense of humour
  • Ambition and drive
