Job Title: Beauty Portfolio Manager

Join Cole Beauty Limited as a key member of our team and take on the challenge of driving brand growth and development.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beauty Portfolio Manager to lead our brand development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching the global competitive marketplace and developing strategies to grow each brand in line with company targets.

You will work closely with our Global Head of Brand and NPD Manager to create NPD plans and align internal and external departments to ensure the brand proposition and vision is delivered. Your expertise in data analysis and insight will be crucial in monitoring brand saliency and success, and developing agile brand plans.

As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for defending the integrity of the Cole Beauty brand and its proposition, ensuring that brand values, proposition, and differentiating factors are protected and optimized through product development, content development, and activation.

You will also be responsible for developing new NPD line extensions and potentially brands, with recommendations around retail price point and competitive position. Your creative and visionary approach will be essential in developing brand assets, including brand and copy bibles, lead campaign photography, and outline marketing concepts and content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement brand development strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Research and analyze the global competitive marketplace to inform brand development decisions
  • Work closely with internal and external departments to ensure brand proposition and vision is delivered
  • Develop and manage brand assets, including brand and copy bibles, lead campaign photography, and outline marketing concepts and content
  • Develop new NPD line extensions and potentially brands, with recommendations around retail price point and competitive position
  • Defend the integrity of the Cole Beauty brand and its proposition
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and sales

Requirements:

  • Business, Brand or Marketing related degree or similar qualification
  • 5+ years' experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns from within the beauty/lifestyle or retail industry, ideally with international experience
  • 5+ years' work experience as a Brand or Marketing Manager
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent standard of English language and mathematically astute
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of website CMS, knowledge of Direct Mail comms beneficial
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Creative & visionary
  • Good understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong sense of commercial awareness
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Ability to think strategically using an analytical marketing approach
  • Excellent understanding and passion for the beauty category and marketing trends
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations
