About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Operations Training Manager to join our team at Transport for Wales. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the Customer Operations training team and ensuring the design, delivery, and quality of learning and development meet all requirements, including industry and legislative compliance and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Customer Operations training team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders, ensuring learning is embedded in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with the Workforce planning and Operational training team to support the business strategy and manage commercial training, including training plans and statistics.
  • Coach and support team members to ensure high-quality design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs.

Requirements

  • Experience in designing, delivering, evaluating, and reviewing learning and development materials.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Relevant learning and development or trainer qualification, with a willingness to continue professional development.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential, the ability to speak and write Welsh would be a valuable asset to your application. Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh language and offers opportunities for employees to develop and improve their language skills.
