**Recovery Practitioner - Sutton Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Practitioner to join our team on an initial temporary basis, working from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has dealt with substance misuse issues and wishes to advance in their career.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist clients at the outset of their programme, identifying the most suitable recovery path.
  2. Mitigate the harm caused by drugs and alcohol to clients and the wider community.
  3. Act as an advocate for partnership services, promoting collaborative work.
  4. Facilitate social (re)integration among service users, encouraging self-determination, resilience, and recovery.
  5. Lead group sessions, providing structured information at various stages of recovery.

**Essential Qualifications:**

  1. Possess a comprehensive understanding of substance misuse issues or prior experience in a related field.
  2. Hold a solid grasp of drug and alcohol services, interventions, and best practices.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to manage change effectively, prioritizing the interests of service users.
  4. Acknowledge the importance of information governance procedures and adhere to required safety protocols.

**Estimated Salary Range:** £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
