About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team at Ashley Park School. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assess and record pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies related to SEN.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and support.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of teaching pupils with SEN, preferably in a specialist setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
