We are looking for an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team, who will take a creative approach to teaching pupils with diverse educational needs, ensuring the delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises their achievement and ability to develop.
Key Responsibilities
- To secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources, and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Headteacher/Senior Lead for curriculum and learning.
- To teach a range of skills and techniques as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school's curriculum.
- Support the development of provision that has a whole-school impact.
Requirements
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education or Qualified Teacher Status.
- Calm, engaging, resilient, and innovative teaching style, motivated by helping every pupil reach their potential.
- Knowledge and understanding of strategies that relate to the education and personal development of SEN pupils, including effective behaviour management techniques and opportunities to praise and reward.
- Implementing the school's vision, aims, priorities, targets, curriculum policies, and action plans in relation to classroom practice.
- Statutory curriculum requirements and the requirements for assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils' attainment and progress.
