Role OverviewWe are seeking passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapists to join our team. The successful candidates will work across a range of educational and therapy settings, delivering high-quality assessment and support to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication needs that are holistic and demonstrate collaboration with families and professionals.
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate the effectiveness of support programs for children and young people in early years, primary, and secondary settings.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the development of speech, language, and communication skills.
- Provide training and advice to early years, school staff, and parents.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to professional standards and guidelines.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of service-wide initiatives, including but not exclusive to training packages.
- Depending on experience/band offer supervision to other members of the team.
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience working with children and young people across different age groups and educational settings.
- Specialist skills and knowledge of supporting Neuro Diverse children and young people, including assessment and support skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Experience in delivering training and workshops to educators and parents.
