Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Biomedical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Concept Resourcing. This is a unique opportunity to work with medical devices and equipment in a hospital setting.

About the Role:

This role involves providing daily on-site repair, maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations. The successful candidate will work closely with site/team leaders to achieve contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors, and staff to ensure responsiveness and support. This includes performing scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on medical equipment according to manufacturer guidelines, completing repairs as required, and traveling to various sites to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance.

Liaising with third-party suppliers for spare parts and contract quotations is also a key aspect of this role.

What We're Looking For:
  • A certified OEM training qualification.
  • A UK degree in Biomedical engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a UK biomedical setting.
  • Experience with Patient monitoring, diathermies (electro surgery units), theatre tables, defibrillators, infusion & volumetric devices, Anaesthesia equipment, ventilation devices.
  • Competency with a broad range of medical devices.
  • A full UK driving license.
Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
