We're committed to providing excellent care and services to our clients and children, which has contributed to our successful growth. To maintain this pace, we're seeking a Relief Chef Manager to join our team.

The Role

As the Relief Chef Manager, you'll support our catering facilities in schools within your region, focusing on operational and financial performance. Your goal will be to deliver high-quality food and service while showcasing your creativity and flair.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing your kitchen team, providing coaching, training, and motivation
  • Supporting the control of catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
  • Ensuring consistency in food and service standards for students and staff
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing and improving controllable costs
  • Overseeing menu development
  • Maintaining company systems and procedures, as well as adhering to legislation
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
About You

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. You'll need:

  • OND or HND qualification (advantageous but not required)
  • Driving license
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience in a similar environment
