About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Senior Applied Psychologist - Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, specialist psychological care to clients with complex mental health or learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychological therapists, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to best practice.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and effective.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, with a strong background in clinical psychology and experience working with complex mental health or learning disabilities.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Experience of clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
