Leaders in Care: Registered Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at a brand new service in Gloucester. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing a 4-bedded children's home and managing a team of 9 staff members to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young people.
  2. Manage a team of staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet the needs of the young people in their care.
  3. Represent the company professionally to outside agencies and within the local community, promoting our values and services.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Children's Home legislation and Ofsted inspection requirements.
  5. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve our goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and managing care staff.
  • Recognised social work qualifications (QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent).
  • Thorough knowledge of Children's Home legislation and Ofsted inspection requirements.
  • A valid manual driving licence and own car with business insurance.
