Lead a Team of Care Professionals

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee our new children's home in Gloucester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 9 staff members to deliver high-quality care to young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the daily operations of a 4-bedded children's home in a rural area.
  2. Manage a team of care professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
  3. Represent our organisation professionally to outside agencies and within the local community.
  4. Ensure compliance with Children's Home legislation and Ofsted inspection requirements.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary with potential bonuses up to £50,000.
  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Occupancy Bonus: £175 per child after the first child.
  • Ofsted Report Bonuses: £500 for a good report, £1000 for an outstanding report.
  • Non-contributory pension (9% Employer contribution).
  • Company sick pay after 6 months probation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and managing care staff.
  • Recognised social work qualifications (QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent).
  • A valid manual driving licence and own car with business insurance.
