As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating investment projects aimed at improving key areas of the business, including Safety, Quality, Productivity, Maintenance, and Cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritization and Stakeholder Collaboration: You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and manage projects, ensuring that safety, quality, productivity, and cost considerations are always at the forefront.
  • Project Oversight and Problem Solving: You will lead regular project reviews, delegate tasks as needed, and escalate any unresolved issues to management, ensuring smooth progress and timely resolutions.
  • Innovation and Engineering Support: You will create systems for team members to formally request engineering support, promoting innovation and problem-solving across the site.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: You will generate and manage PARs (project justifications) while complying with the system requirements, ensuring that every project is backed by sound analysis.
  • Collaboration with Maintenance and Planning: You will identify opportunities to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime, working with the Maintenance and Planning teams to prevent project-related disruptions to customers.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: You will ensure that relevant project information is passed to team members and that they receive the necessary training for successful project implementation.
  • Contractor and Safety Management: You will manage contractors onsite, ensuring they are fully inducted and comply with Sealed Air's safety and legal policies.
  • Process Improvement and Team Collaboration: You will continuously seek to improve project management processes to reduce lead times and costs, contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements:
  • Strong Engineering Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) is required, with experience in project management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven track record of managing small, medium, and large-scale projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing projects based on business needs, safety, quality, and cost considerations.
  • Experience with Maintenance and Reliability Improvements: Familiarity with working alongside maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives, reducing lead times, and enhancing project outcomes through innovative solutions.
