About the Role

Sewell Wallis Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager and contributing to the smooth operation of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry of financial documents, including supplier invoices and purchase orders
  • Reconciling purchase orders to invoices received and ensuring accurate coding
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders via email and phone
  • Reconciling supplier accounts and statements
  • Processing and responding to queries and questions around expense claims
  • Supporting the AP Specialists in responding to complex finance queries
  • Meeting payment run and month-end deadlines in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Experience and knowledge of the accounts payable function
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner
