Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Cashier to join our team at IPS Finance. As a Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our clients in the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff with accounts queries and provide accurate and timely responses.
  • Process daily financial payments, receipts, and transfers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Perform day-end balancing procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Process credit card payments and make bank and cheque payments as required.
  • Reconcile petty cash payments and balance petty cash accounts.
  • Calculate deposit interest and process purchase ledger coding, input, and cheque production.
  • Process employees' expenses claims and ensure all claims are accurately processed and approved.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a legal cashiering role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of financial procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
