About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Gordon Yates Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our presence in the materials handling and capital equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow our £1m+ turnover area, building on existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Network with high-value customers to establish strong B2B relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Manage the sales cycle end-to-end, leveraging the support of our knowledgeable team at head office.
  • Contribute to the growth of our brand through sales and marketing activities.
Requirements
  • Prior sales experience in a related market sector, with a focus on capital equipment, hydraulic equipment, fork-lift trucks, and materials handling equipment.
  • Proven track record of building profitable B2B customer relationships and networks in a field sales environment.
  • A positive team mindset and values-based approach to your career.
