Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Remote/Office-based
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at Bayman Atkinson Smythe. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting the finance manager with budget preparation and performing general finance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial reports
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate coding and monitoring of sinking fund accounts
- Prepare and reconcile pre-payments and accruals
- Perform manual journal postings
- Support with month-end close tasks and reports as required
- Update cash flow and provide actual figures/forecasts to the finance manager
- Review VAT allocations monthly and prepare Quarterly VAT returns for review
- Collate data and changes for the monthly payroll process
- Monitor contracts database and provide relevant information
- Support and cover for purchase and sales ledger roles within the finance team
- Oversee bank reconciliation and report on month-end close
About the Role:
This is a temporary assignment that requires a candidate with strong working knowledge of accounts, ideally within a property or housing environment. You must have excellent Excel skills, be organized with good attention to detail, and possess exceptional communication skills. We are looking for someone who can commit to the full ongoing assignment for continuity purposes.
