Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team at SearchBourne Consulting.

About the Role

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expertise in Java, J2EE, WebServices, API Gateway Integration, and Security standards.
  • Experience with Spring boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, and concurrency.
  • Proficiency in Web application technologies, JavaScript, React, JQuery, and AngularJS.
  • API and Contract Testing using REST Assured, Postman, Swagger, and SOAP UI.
  • Functional testing using Selenium and Jbehave.
  • Test Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing using Junit and XCTest.
  • Use of mocking frameworks like API Service Virtualization, Mockito, and OCMock.
  • Static Code Analysis using SonarQube and Xcode Static Analyzer.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, PCF, and similar tools for automated provisioning.
  • Troubleshooting with Splunk API aids and source control systems like Git.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Maven, Junit, Redis, Oracle database, SQL, Unix command, Shell scripting, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Understanding of Web/Application servers like JBoss and Apache Tomcat.
  • Hands-on knowledge of tools like Sonar, Dynatrace, GIT, SVN, Rally, Jira CI, and CD.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative, and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in SDLC and implementation of projects.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Java, J2EE, and WebServices.
