Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team at SearchBourne Consulting. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software systems using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality Java software applications using Java 8 and later versions
  • Implement and integrate Java-based APIs, Web Services, and microservices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using JUnit, TestNG, and other testing tools
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using tools like Splunk, Swagger, and Postman
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and related technology trends and advancements

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Java 8 and later versions
  • Expert-level knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and related technologies
  • Experience with API Gateway Integration, Security standards, and WebLogic, WebSphere, and JBoss
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven experience in implementing projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Maven, JUnit, Redis, Oracle database, SQL, Unix command shell scripting, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other related technologies
  • Knowledge of Web/Application servers like JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and other related technologies
  • Experience with tools like Sonar, Dynatrace, GIT, SVN, Rally, Jira CI, and other related tools
