About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Cardiac Physiology team as a Healthcare Science Associate - Senior Cardiographer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret ECGs and other cardiac investigations
  • Support the Cardiac Physiologist in exercise tolerance tests and other procedures
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of cardiac physiology and pathology
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • SCST Certificate in ECG or SCST Diploma in ECG or Level 4 Healthcare Science Apprenticeship in Cardiology
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Cardiographer or experience in diagnosing cardiac arrhythmias within a medical healthcare role
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
