Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Support Coordinator to join our team at London South East Colleges. As a key member of the team, you will provide day-to-day support to students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a designated curriculum area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate colleagues in transition activities, demonstrating effective communication and tact.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies for supporting students with ALN.
  • Provide day-to-day support to students, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Assist with coordinating events and activities that promote student engagement and well-being.

London South East Colleges is a successful and innovative college operating across Bromley, Bexley, Orpington, Greenwich, and Lambeth. The college serves nearly 14,000 students and 1,000 staff members.

Salary: £28,500 - £32,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • Hold or willing to work towards Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HTLA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Passionate about improving learner experience and working with young people, families, and external support.
  • Confident in supporting and coordinating colleagues in transition activities and complex situations.
