As a Modification Technician, you'll contribute to maintaining our extensive rolling stock fleet in top condition.

Job Overview

We seek a skilled Modification Technician to join our team in North London, where they will execute maintenance tasks, ensure prompt completion of assigned duties, and adhere to strict health and safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair rolling stock equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines and company policies.
  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive trains within the depot area in adherence to company rules.
  • Pursue ongoing training and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to deliver project objectives and production targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics, maintain accurate records, and report progress.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry sector.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package from £55,000 - £70,000 per year, along with excellent benefits, including a comprehensive pension plan, life insurance, and generous annual leave.
