Overview:
The Family Support Specialist will play a crucial role within the Family Wellbeing Centre, which is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for families in need. This position is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive support services that address the diverse needs of families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist families in accessing a variety of targeted services, utilizing a holistic family approach, and when necessary, aid in completing Early Help Assessments (EHA) to ensure families receive appropriate assistance.
  • Collaborate with the broader Family Wellbeing Centre Teams and Partners, maintaining a family-centered focus.
  • Deliver adaptable support and interventions tailored to the unique needs of families within the Family Wellbeing Centres.
  • Empower vulnerable families to engage with essential and universal services that cater to their specific requirements.
  • Contribute to the overarching vision of the Partnership, ensuring that all interactions embody the core values of the organization.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Excellent written communication skills to effectively relay information to families and professionals as needed.
  • Understanding of effective safeguarding policies and procedures, along with awareness of one's responsibilities within these frameworks.
