About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our Adolescent Sure Start Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering early help interventions that make a positive impact on the lives of families and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive community early help assessments to identify the needs of families and develop tailored support plans.
  • Lead multi-agency meetings to drive forward positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Work closely with families, schools, and community organizations to ensure coordinated and effective support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with voluntary and community sector organizations to enhance the role of Lead Practitioners in our early help framework.

About You:

  • You have significant experience working directly with children and families, particularly in an early help context.
  • You excel in building relationships with families, professionals, and community partners, and have strong communication skills.

This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your skill set, work on exciting new projects, and contribute to the development of our community early help initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at Enhanced level.
