About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Duty Manager to join our team at Places Leisure. As a Senior Duty Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager and General Manager in achieving objectives and assisting in specific project areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager with the implementation of the Places Leisure Safe Manual
  • Maintain a high profile 'shop floor' presence and a high level of interaction with staff and customers
  • Ensure that staff are trained correctly and to the appropriate level and are delivering the expected level of service to clients at all times
  • Monitor performance of staff through meetings and performance & development appraisals
  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and cleaning within the centre
  • Assist the Operations Manager in coordinating and overseeing the performance of the Duty Managers

About You

We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual who has a background in a customer-facing role and is used to hitting targets to achieve individual and team targets. You should have experience in a similar role, ideally within a leisure/hospitality environment, and be able to motivate teams to deliver on a consistent basis.
