Haematology/Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Haematology/Oncology department at The Christie Private Care or The Wilmslow, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing leadership to the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with haematological and oncological conditions
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure high standards of care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC Registration
  • Extensive experience of working within a haematology environment
  • Post Registration Qualification relevant to the role
  • Experience of working within the Clinical Nurse Specialist role or similar senior level
  • Knowledge of relevant national cancer policies and procedures
  • Leadership experience
