We are currently recruiting for a Building/Fabric Project Manager to join our team at OCS, a leading facilities management company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a site team to ensure the successful delivery of multi-discipline projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
  • Team Management: The Project Manager will lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary training and qualifications to fulfill their roles.
  • Client Management: The Project Manager will be the focal point for managing client expectations, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the project delivery.
  • Commercial Management: The Project Manager will be responsible for the financial outcome of their projects, including understanding the tender, reviewing costs, and delivering value engineering solutions.
  • Health and Safety: The Project Manager will ensure that all employees have the necessary training and qualifications to fulfill their roles, and that they adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Quality Management: The Project Manager will ensure that all projects are delivered to the required quality standard, and that all employees adhere to all quality policies and procedures.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience of successfully managing multi-discipline projects.
  • Building background with relevant technical Board of Trade Certificate of Competency.
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Completion of 5-day Site Managers Safety course.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Experience of commercial management and reporting on WIP.
  • Full driving licence.
  • HNC Construction / Project Management or PRINCE 2 Qualification.
  • CDM Awareness.
  • Experience of the Pre-Construction RIBA Stages.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Dynamics and Project.
  • Effective managerial skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Client focused, professional with the requisite skills to establish and maintain relationships.
  • A self-motivated person who has the ability to work on their own initiative and achieve stretching targets.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a pressurised environment.
  • A team player.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
