About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile tradesperson to join our team at Mears, working in the social housing sector. As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repair and refurbishment services to our residents, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to safety, quality, and cost control standards.

As a key member of our local team, you will support residents with reactive repairs, working on a planned route to deliver best-in-class service. You will have a certified core trade and be able to deliver additional trade activities to complete repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard, in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality repair and refurbishment services to residents
  • Work collaboratively with the local team to achieve high standards
  • Support residents with reactive repairs, working on a planned route
  • Deliver additional trade activities to complete repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Core Trade in Carpentry (Painting and Decorating, Tiling, Plastering, Plumbing)
  • Social housing background
  • Team Player
  • Good Communication Skills
  • UK full driving license
