About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at Mears, working alongside Tower Hamlets Council in the Social housing sector. As a key member of our local team, you will provide excellent service and support to residents, delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties.
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for undertaking high-standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities, working on a planned route to ensure timely completion. You will have a certified core trade and be able to deliver additional trade activities to support the completion of repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake construction, fault finding, and maintenance repairs to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with the local team to deliver excellent customer service and meet safety, quality, and cost control standards.
- Take ownership of repair/refurbishment works, aiming for first-time completion within budget and time parameters.
- Support residents with reactive repairs across our portfolio of properties.
Requirements:
- Core Trade in Carpentry experience in Painting and decorating, Tiling, Plastering, Plumbing.
- Social housing background.
- Team Player.
- Good Communication Skills.
- UK full driving license.
