About the Role
The Estates and Facilities Engineering Team at Queen Mary University of London is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing strategic engineering service delivery for the provision, development, and management of our extensive portfolio of hard and soft services.
About You
We are looking for a professional with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering effective maintenance services. You will be qualified to degree level in Engineering or a building-related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, with experience of maintenance management.
About the Department
Our Estates and Facilities team is responsible for providing a range of services to support the university's operations, including maintenance, repairs, and facilities management. We are currently short-staffed in our shift multi-skilled technician roles, which are being covered by agency staff. We need to fill these roles to ensure we can deliver critical out-of-hours services and provide an in-house response to emergencies across our campuses.
