Job Overview

Binnies, an RSK Group company, is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join our @one Alliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the commercial and cost management of projects from inception to close-out, ensuring maximum efficiencies and compliance with Alliance and Anglian Water governance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial estimates, ensuring they are aligned with project scope.
  • Support commercial and procurement strategies, working closely with Senior Buyers to ensure tender processes are followed correctly.
  • Prepare and manage subcontracts, ensuring they reflect agreed scope and are properly managed in accordance with contract.
  • Provide accurate live forecasting, reporting in accordance with WBS/CBS, and monitor actual costs against baseline estimates.
  • Identify and address variances to plans, providing reports on actual costs versus estimates.
  • Ensure timely issue of early warnings and advise on compliance matters.
  • Maintain proper records for audits and cost assurance.
  • Prepare final accounts timely and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level and RICS/CIOB/CICES certification.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex projects, up to multi-million-pound projects.
  • Robust nature, ability to manage change, and willingness to challenge decisions.
  • Experience with NEC suite of contracts, negotiating, estimating, and stakeholder management.
