We are seeking a skilled Fundraising Specialist to join our team at Douglas Macmillan Hospice. As a key member of our Income Generation Team, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering effective individual giving campaigns, maximising donations and donor retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on Individual Giving Campaigns: Plan, deliver and manage initiatives such as our flagship Light Up A Life donation campaign, Regular Giving programme and seasonal donation asks.
- Forge meaningful supporter relationships: Work closely with our Marketing Team to create compelling communications and materials showcasing the impact of supporter donations.
- Maximise Gift Aid opportunities: Lead efforts on maximising and promoting our Gift Aid scheme, currently claiming over £170k annually.
- Provide an excellent donor experience: Welcome supporters, show compassion, enthusiasm and appreciation, and keep them well-informed.
Requirements:

- Great communicator: Confident, compassionate and creative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Networking: Build quality, meaningful relationships with supporters and internal colleagues.
- Strategic Thinker: Aware of current external considerations and able to align fundraising with our hospice mission.
- Results Driven: Capable of seeing projects through to completion, with a focus on success and year-on-year growth.
What You'll Get:
