Job Title: Medical Education Office Administrator
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Medical Education Office Administrator to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time position, working 22.5 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.
Company Overview:We are a small, friendly team who support all doctors from medical students up to consultants. We have offices in both Education Centres, one on each site.
About the Role:This role will provide administrative support for projects delegated by other members of the team as required, whilst assisting with the day-to-day running of the PGME Office.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide robust, pragmatic and organised administrative support to the Training Programme for Foundation Doctors working at GHNHSFT and within Gloucestershire.
- Link with NHSE and the Foundation Programme School to ensure local implementation is in line with the National Foundation Guidelines, working with the local PGME Foundation Programme Directors, Foundation Administrative Team and the PGME Team.
- Support the rigorous appraisal process for Foundation Resident Doctors, assisting in the completion of electronic portfolios as evidence of their learning.
- Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of the full range of Microsoft Administrative Systems.
- Experience of working in an NHS/Healthcare Office environment.
The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
