In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from species and habitats surveys to data capture and reporting, advanced bat licence survey techniques, and biodiversity net gain mentoring and coaching. You will also support the production of ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected species license applications, and author or technically check project deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology, with experience in planning and delivery of ecological services on projects in the UK or Ireland. You will possess excellent field skills in at least one specialist area, including protected species licenses, and a well-developed understanding of relevant wildlife conservation or one major habitat type or species.

A competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including flexible hybrid working options, internal and external training opportunities, and a supportive mentoring and coaching framework.
