We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team in the UK and Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to lead multidisciplinary environmental inputs to large-scale development projects, transforming our infrastructure and helping the UK achieve its net zero goals.
About the Role- Lead environmental inputs across all project life stages, from early strategy development to scheme operation/maintenance.
- Play an instrumental role in helping to seek out and secure new commissions, and be actively engaged in client relationship management.
You will work daily with technical experts within our established Environmental Impact team. We are a founding member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) EIA Quality Mark, whilst everything we do aligns with our environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Expertise: Lead and direct multidisciplinary environmental inputs across a wide range of projects, helping our clients gain development consent.
- Collaborate: Work as part of integrated design teams to identify environmental constraints, avoid impacts and develop solutions in accordance with the mitigation hierarchy.
- Create: Lead and support business opportunities and associated fee and technical proposal development.
- Inspire: Active role in staff development and mentoring.
- Champion: Promote AECOM's environmental services to both internal and external audiences.
