Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's team on a part time basis, 3 or 4 days per week. This is a great opportunity to work within a secure team environment, reporting to the General Manager.

The ideal candidate will have 12 months accounts experience, preferably in a purchase ledger role. They should be confident in using Sage software and possess excellent MS Office skills. They will work well in a small team environment and be happy to work part time, in the office. The salary for this position is approximately £22,500 per annum, based on a 3 or 4 day week.

The specific duties of this role will include:
  1. Ensuring the efficient and accurate functioning of the purchase ledger
  2. Posting of weekly invoices (Sage 50)
  3. Uploading purchase invoices to Sage software
  4. Supplier statement reconciliation
  5. Query resolution - contacting customers by phone and email to resolve queries
