About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in the South of England, responsible for driving both short- and long-term rentals of our equipment and asset range.

The successful candidate will be the face of Dawsongroup for the construction and local authority sector, working to maintain high equipment utilisation and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Building and maintaining regular contact with decision-makers in the construction sector to optimise opportunities for rentals and direct sales.
  • Business Development: Researching potential customers using trade publications, past contracts, industry insights, and personal networks.
  • Rental & Sales Growth: Identifying opportunities for new rental business while maximising returns through second-hand equipment sales and joint enquiries with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborating with Area Sales Executives, Branch Sales Managers, and other teams to align efforts with company sales plans.
  • Customer Support: Staying in touch with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in sales and customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
