Job Title: Management Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team at JD Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for key operating expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to the Group, including monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze key cost areas and provide challenge to stakeholders to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Financial Planning: Aid in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for gym-level operating costs.
- Internal Controls: Maintain controls in line with the Group's Financial controls programme.
- Support and Development: Provide support and guidance to the Assistant Accountant and assist with audit queries.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant.
- Experience: Experience of management accounting and working alongside internal stakeholders.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to investigate and explain variances, and strong communication skills.
- Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
