Management Accountant Opportunity

Marks Sattin (UK) Ltd is partnering with a leading UK brand to recruit a Management Accountant for their Greater Manchester office.

This exciting role offers a unique chance for a qualified Management Accountant to work in a dynamic environment, providing management accounts for a UK and Republic of Ireland portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare monthly management accounts for variable costs
  2. Conduct detailed variance analysis, with supporting commentary and evidence for any adverse/favourable variances to budget and last year
  3. Assist with producing monthly, half-year and year-end Group reporting packs
  4. Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating these to the divisional Finance Manager
  5. Assist with the production of monthly P&L reports, liaising with Operations and highlighting variances to budget
  6. Responsible for analysing key cost areas and provide challenge to the operational teams
Requirements:
  1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA Finalist/Qualified
  2. Previous experience of a similar role
  3. Ability to investigate and explain variances across multiple accounts
