Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and support to colleagues and other professionals in high-pressure situations.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to enhance service delivery, promote innovation, and introduce new ways of working from recognized sites of excellence.
  • Model effective risk assessment and management in complex situations, including positive risk-taking scenarios.
  • Lead on safeguarding issues in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Offer professional guidance, advice, and/or supervision.
  • Monitor and support the performance management and development of team members using a coaching approach, maximizing individual contributions.
  • Contribute to organizational change and development, addressing performance management issues as needed.

Requirements:

  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Ongoing professional development.
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Experience within adult social work.
