About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Goldenley Care Home in South Benfleet, Essex. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting a team of Care Assistants, ensuring that outstanding care is delivered at all times. You will work closely with the Home Manager and other Senior Care Assistants to ensure the smooth operation of the care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
  • Mentor and support a team of Care Assistants, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding care.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and other Senior Care Assistants to ensure the smooth operation of the care home.
  • Engage in meaningful activities with residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of person-centred care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the successful delivery of outstanding care.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £12.60 - £13.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • 24 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours.
