Job Overview

The Perinatal Community Mental Health Service is a specialist secondary care multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatry, psychological therapies, occupational therapy, specialist nursing and nursery nursing, social work, and peer support. We are seeking a Business Manager to join our team, working alongside the Team Manager to develop and implement business strategies that support the delivery of high-quality care to our service users.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Develop and maintain performance information, analysing data to inform business decisions and support service improvement.
  • Lead on the production, analysis, and dissemination of business reports and information to support decision-making and service planning.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to achieve integrated information and support business development.
  • Manage designated projects, providing project support to the team and contributing to the team objective planning process.
  • Provide effective leadership and management to staff, promoting high performance standards and equality, equity, and optimum performance.
Person Specification
  • Relevant degree or diploma level qualification or equivalent experience plus training & experience to post graduate diploma level.
  • Knowledge of current NHS performance agenda and business case procedures.
  • Experience of leading on a project or directly supporting via a project management process.
  • Experience of performance monitoring and managing or maintaining data management systems.
