Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at AM Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign work packages to team members and monitor progress
  • Manage priorities and arising maintenance requirements from operational areas
  • Ensure work is closed out within the maintenance management system
  • Timekeeping, holidays, and disciplinary matters
  • Work with the Maintenance Planner to develop job packs and maintenance schedules
  • Interface with mechanical contractors
  • First-line problem-solving for arising mechanical faults or work delivery problems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • SHEQ Management: Ensure all Environmental, Health & Safety requirements are met during maintenance tasks
  • Equipment Management: Supervise maintenance mechanical technicians and direct them on mechanical breakdown repairs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems
