We are seeking a Behavioural Support Mentor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Behavioural Support Mentor, you will work with students who require additional support to overcome social emotional behaviour difficulties and achieve their potential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour.
  • Establish and maintain a 1:1 mentoring relationship with identified students.
  • Work with teachers, Heads of House, and support staff to promote the effective use of behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents to support the work of the school in improving individual children's behaviour and ensuring effective communication between school and home.
  • Work directly with individuals or groups to raise self-esteem and confidence of pupils with a view to improving their personal and social skills.
  • Monitor progress in improving behaviour and maintain improvements once made.
