About the Job

CROYDON COUNCIL-2 is seeking an experienced Children's Welfare Lead to join our Systemic Practice model. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop a team of Social Workers, supporting them to deliver high-quality services to children and families.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in systemic practice, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. You will be responsible for leading practice, developing staff skills and expertise, and contributing to the delivery of positive safety and well-being outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead practice through exemplary direct work, developing staff skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies.
  • Motivate and inspire a team of Social Workers, supporting them to deliver high-quality services.
