About the RoleWe're seeking an Office Assistant to join our Leeds office team. This dynamic role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills, who can bring enthusiasm and energy to the office. As an Office Assistant, you'll report to the Office Manager but also work independently, taking initiative to drive results.
Key Responsibilities- General Duties
- Reception duties: manage incoming deliveries, arrange couriers, and distribute mail
- Administrative tasks: maintain stationery and office supplies, book travel arrangements, and manage meeting room schedules
- Office environment: ensure a safe, tidy, and efficient workspace across all floors
- General housekeeping: maintain the office and kitchens, completing tasks regularly
- Training: assist with organizing training programs, ordering food and beverages, and supporting in-house courses
- Accounting Duties
- Purchase orders: request and chase invoices for company credit card transactions
- Compliance Duties
- Visitors: greet and arrange for visitors, catering when required
- Record keeping: maintain accurate records to a high standard
- Office handbook: organize and arrange stock for social events, send invitations, and record attendance
- Quarterly town halls, summer strategy events, and Christmas parties: assist with arrangements
- Client events: support arrangements for client events
- Project Management Support
- Problem-solving: identify creative solutions for office improvements
- Improvement initiatives: support planning and execution of office improvement initiatives
- Change management: assist with transitioning new processes, office setups, or technologies
We're looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent time management and interpersonal skills. You'll be proactive, able to work independently, and possess a positive attitude.
