About the Role
National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is looking for a skilled Criticality Consultant to join their team. As a Criticality Consultant, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support the development of safety cases for NNL's activities and those of its customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to develop their skills and experience in criticality safety, with the potential to progress to more senior roles within the organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including those related to advanced modular reactors, clean energy, nuclear medicine, and decommissioning.

Main Responsibilities:
- Technical delivery of projects in the criticality area to time, cost, quality, value, and service requirements.
- Development of customer and stakeholder network within own project areas.
- Contribution to IR&D projects.
- Development of technical awareness of NNL capabilities within the criticality safety area.

Requirements:
- Degree qualified or equivalent level of demonstrable technical capability.
- SQEP 1-2 with some experience in criticality safety.
- Basic level of knowledge in the specialized field of criticality safety assessment.
- Ability to act independently, under guidance, and to work in a team.
- Good communication skills.

The estimated salary for this role is around £58,000 per year, depending on experience.
