Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Axminster Medical Centre, working three days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in practice nursing and be able to manage complex patient needs.

Axminster Medical Centre is a large and established practice in East Devon, serving over 13,000 patients. We have a diverse clinical team and offer a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the diabetic disease register and review patients
  • Conduct Doppler assessments as required
  • Administer adult vaccinations when necessary
  • Provide wound care and dressings
  • Perform cervical screening tests
  • Fitting and changing ring pessaries
  • Maintain infection control protocols
  • Conduct contraceptive reviews
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered General Nurse qualification
  • Demonstrable commitment to professional development
  • Experience working in accordance with UKCC Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice
  • Basic nursing skills and knowledge
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £38,890-£44,036 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
