Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Practice Nurse to join our team in Axminster, working 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing chronic diseases and be able to work independently.

About the Role

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a large practice in East Devon, serving over 13,000 patients. As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for managing diabetic disease registers, performing Doppler assessments, and providing wound care services.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Diabetic Disease Registers and Review Patients
  • Perform Doppler Assessments as Required
  • Administer Adult Vaccinations as Necessary
  • Provide Wound Care and Dressings Services
  • Conduct Cervical Screening Tests
  • Fitting and Changing Ring Pessaries
  • Infection Control Measures
  • Contraceptive Reviews

Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and requires a dedicated nurse to assist in expanding existing chronic disease management clinics. The successful candidate will also contribute to data recording and auditing, ensuring the maintenance of quality standards.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development and career growth within the NHS.
